In many episodes we see some boot removal! Here are some descriptions, taken from the toonDEboot group:
"The three girls were fighting a villain who had the ability to control
cockroaches. At one point, the girls fell through the floor of the
villain's hideout and wound up in a human sized roach motel... After
some villainous talking, the villain left Sam and Clover on their own,
taking the third spy to be his "insect queen."
While the girls were struggling with the bugs, Sam decides to shoot
Clover's utility belt (which doubles as a grapple and rope) to pull
them to safety. As they are getting pulled out, Clover's boots are
stuck in the sticky stuff inside the roach motel. She then cries: "My
boots!" as the cartoon zooms on to her boots slipping off her feet.
Suprisingly, she's wearing pink socks as her feet are freed from her
boots. She then complains about losing her boots. She sits there and
mopes while Sam tells her that after mission, they'll get her new boots."
"Season 3:
Episode: Creepy Crawly Much?
This was the one where Clover's boots get stuck in a human-sized roach
motel and she winds up abandoning them. She wears pinkish colored
socks under her boots.
Episode: Truth or Scare
This episode features a crazed paparazzi-esque character who attempts
to abduct a cross-over Beatles/Elton John character. Clover and Sam
get bound together at a magazine processing plant and thrown on a
conveyer belt which is leading to a giant paper cutter. In order to
escape, Clover hooks her foot on a nearby bundle of magazines. Sam
asks her to swing the bundle forward and it just might jam the paper
cutter. Clover does so, but the bundle of magazines also wind up
taking her boot along. Clover is barefoot and cries that she needs a
pedicure."
